Description: Masonic education presented by Bro. Devin Briese and Wor. Achenbauch who will discuss the Circumpunct or the Circle and the Dot. The symbol of the circle with a dot at its center is one of the oldest symbols on the planet. At different times throughout history, it has symbolized various ideas, concepts and realities. It also is part of modern Masonic symbolism and most recently featured prominently in “The Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown. This month’s Esoteric Masonry session will focus on this symbol and some of its history. And then, in keeping with our focus on personal practice, and tools for transformation, we will learn a specific concentration practice that one can do with this symbol that has the potential to bring the practitioner further into Light. This session is open to all Mason’s as well as those interested in Masonry. Please arrive a few minutes early so that we can start on time.

Hey all...

       I was wondering....  For this event on Monday (8/24)  at the SRC...  It says and I quote "Lodge will be convened on the First Degree for the purpose of Masonic Education".   Does this mean that It will be necessary for someone to be there to vouch for me?  As a fairly newly EA I'm not quite sure if I would?  The term "lodge convened" tells me YES I would need someone; yet the term "Masonic Education" tells me that it might to an open to the public event.    Not sure, any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Corn, Wine & Oil - Tyler’s Toast

At our April Stated Meeting Wor. Achenbach delivered a presentation for Masonic Education regarding “Corn, Wine & Oil”.  After the meeting, at our “Tyler’s Toast”, we we all enjoyed some bread and beverage along with Extra Virgin Olive Oil supplied by Brother Timothy Wood of Wood Ranch Estate. 

Bro. Wood was featured in the FREEMASON magazine (Dec/Jan 2009) and after enjoying some of the oil at home with his family, Wor. Achenbach decided to bring in a bottle to share with the Lodge.
