This branch which flow from Hilla use to pass through and joins in a lake called Bahr al Mihl or lake Milh. After the drying up of this nehr-e-furat the lake has completely cut from the main flowing Euphrates river. Refer Google Map and type Bahr al Mihl in Satellite mode.
Euphrates river has many branches that passes through various places. During the battle of Kerbala after Martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain a.s. there was a branch of this river which used to flow through kerbala from Hilla. The one above in this video is of Hilla. The River branch that passed through kerbala is Nehr-e- Furaat.
This river branch has been drying up after the battle of kerbala and has almost extinct in kerbala. But Euphrates river is still present and flows but not from Kerbala.
hmmm… i didnt know that, thanks for that useful info.
i def believe its the end of times. there have been many signs.
Turkey has been keeping back majority of the water in a dam, also there is a drought in the region that God has put upon the land, the water is drying up and ancient remains of civilizations (Babylon) are being uncovered in the river…. the Bible says that when the Euphrates River dries up the End of the World is around the Corner, its also a Muslim prophecy about the end of the world.
